CURRENT FACTS AND BRAGGING RIGHTS!
Did you know:
*We exist to raise money so our girls have a quality program, and so parents can get to know one another?
*Husky Softball Fans raise, on average $17,000 a year?
*We provide the funds & tools to keep the fiels green, the extras to make the games extra special (music, a great PA system, announcers at all Varsity games), & a whole lot of fun in the process?
*We have one the most active booster clubs in the PV school district?
* Husky Softball Fans created the Husky Pups Tournament for Softball Recreational players to experience tournament ball?
*The 2006 Horizon Varsity team won the Desert Valley Region Title. Five members of the squad made All-Region, and three others made All-Region Honorable Mention. Blaize Gatti our Head Coach was named Desert Region Coach of the Year.
*The 2006 Horizon Varsity Softball team made it to the semi-finals of the State Championships!
*Five members of the 2006 Senior Graduating Class went to college this fall, on softball scholarships!
FIELD UPDATES
With the much appreciated efforts of the Paradise Valley School District , the Horizon Softball facility is about ready to undergo a significant face-lift. It began last year, when a few changes took shape. The school distict provided, a much needed warning track and a permanent outfield fence around the field. This year they will provide, by seasons start a brand new scoreboard. Stadium bleachers are on their way.
Bigger happenings start at the conclusion of the 2007 season. The softball facility will go under construction, building a new dugout, locker room, press room and concession area. The field improvements will also include a drainage system for the fields, a new batting cage and pitching pit areas. We are told completion of all projects will be done by the beginning of the 2008 season.
***A huge thank you goes to the PV School District, and Horizon High School , for upgrading the softball fields!

-May 14th : Husky Players Varsity Banquet (All Squads)
HOW YOU CAN GET INVOLVED!
-Concessions- All season long! This year we will have coolers and ice, selling soft drinks, water, Gatorade, candy etc.we need volunteers to monitor the coolers. All families are asked to donate concession items.
-Banners- Sponsorship banners are available for companies. (Banners line the outside fence). Minimum cost is $300. This includes the printing of the banner. Additional commitments and donations will include mentions on Casino Night materials, and P.A. announcements during games.
-NEW Scoreboard Sponsorship available. (Multiple years-Info upon request)
-Future Concession Stand Sponsorship available (2008)
